These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at pixstok.com (the “Site”), operated by PixStok (“PixStok”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
About the Site
PixStok publishes technical troubleshooting content for image-related problems within Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), Windows, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and related Microsoft products, along with guidance on image formats such as HEIC, WebP, SVG, AVIF, and HEVC. The content is informational and intended for a general, professional audience.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or related systems;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Site or its infrastructure;
- scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law;
- use the Site in any way that infringes the rights of others or breaches any applicable law or regulation.
Content accuracy and technical disclaimer
This is the most important section of these Terms — please read it carefully.
Our troubleshooting articles often describe changes to software settings, and some describe advanced procedures such as editing the Windows Registry, running PowerShell or command-line operations, modifying file structures, installing or removing codecs and extensions, and changing account or server configurations. These procedures carry inherent risk.
- The content is provided “as is” and for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional, technical, or IT support advice for your specific environment.
- Microsoft software changes frequently. Steps, screenshots, build numbers, KB references, menu locations, and observed behaviour may become outdated, and a fix that works in one version, build, or account configuration may not work — or may behave differently — in another.
- You follow any instructions on this Site at your own risk. Advanced procedures (particularly Registry edits and system-level changes) can cause data loss or system instability if performed incorrectly. Back up your data and, where appropriate, your Registry before making changes, and proceed only if you understand the steps. If you are on a managed or corporate device, consult your IT administrator first.
- We make no warranty that any procedure will resolve your issue, that the content is complete, accurate, or current, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Intellectual property
All original content on the Site — articles, text, layout, and design — is owned by PixStok or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and share links to our content and may print or save individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not republish, redistribute, or reproduce substantial portions of our content without our prior written permission. Trademarks and product names referenced in our articles remain the property of their respective owners.
Third-party links and advertising
The Site contains links to third-party websites (including Microsoft documentation and support resources) and displays advertising served by Google AdSense. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, services, or practices of third-party sites or advertisers. Links and ads do not constitute endorsement. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PixStok and anyone associated with operating the Site will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including, without limitation, data loss, system damage, lost profits, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it, or your reliance on any procedure or information published here. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PixStok from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.
Changes to the Site and to these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; changes are effective when posted, as reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site, except that nothing in this clause affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer in your country of residence.
